This will be a long post with pictures on my Europe trip with my mother :) I wrote all of it every night in Europe :) ps this is a very messy post with loads of missing photos cow I am too lazy to check and add photos. I am only posting it ks I won't forget :)

Day 1: Paris 


I took the night flight to Europe which took about 13 hour. I guess it was alright. It was the first time able to sleep on plane :) I watch like 1 movie before I sleep then another 2 more movies or so after waking up then reach already. The air steward and stewardess for Air France are so good looking! After touching down, we had to wait pretty long for the bags. I think it was because this was a huge flight A380 with 500 over passengers so they were many baggage. Upon arrival, it was funny seeing everyone running all over. My mum and I just just strolled to the train station. Unfortunately, we had no coins so had to queue for train tickets! It was a long queue. The trains are pretty narrow like while sitting, my leg can touch the person's leg opposite me so it was not a really comfortable ride but at least I got a seat. The scenery was not that fantastic but as the train travelled to the city, nicer buildings appeared. There were graffiti all over which kind of destroyed the image of certain buildings. Well maybe it is just me who cannot really appreciate or get use to the street art in Europe. I feel that the graffitis made the building lose their classyness. Then, when we wanted to drink water some kind man volunteered to open the cap for us after seeing us having difficulty :) More luck shone on us when a kind lady, who noticed that we are lost, offered to help us and used a GPS and brought us to the hotel. The French are a lot more helpful then I imagined. It was a interesting difference from Singapore. Of course there is an interesting change of language on signboards and the scenery. So BEAUTIFUL!





The first impression of the hotel was okay I guess looked quite homely and a little of the Europe style I imagined. 



Then as the check in was at one we went to a church nearby recommended by the reception which was supposedly quite popular. It was kinda shocking cos we actually found our way there. The weather was fantastic! Super cooling unlike Singapore. Along the way, I kept snapping photos cos the streets look super good like uss :) haha love love the photos I took, hopefully I won't get tired looking at europe streets. Credits also have to e given to the camera. Love the toy camera effect! Also love how slim and light the camera is. Bought 2 bottles of wine and 2 loafs of bread. Super cheap! The wine I like only 3 euros then bread 0.50 euro. Had to eat bread to save money lol good thing it tast good and hopefully I won't get sick of the bread man! Then went to visit the effiel tower! It was okay I guess not that all fantastic as seen in pictures but the view was fantastic! We were pretty fortunated as we did not have to queue very long to get the tickets. Then just wandered around. I really like wandering around aimlessly following my heart but it was pretty impossible with my mum cos she is always worried about being lost. But managed to walked around without knowing the direction and realize that Paris has loads of park which is super big and nice  with many huge shady trees, fountain and statues. Then wanted to do some shopping but arrived at Longchamp shop at 7.10 but it closed at 7 D: so guess we have to return another day. Zomzzz so sleepy. These went back to sleep super early like 9 plus but the sky was still super bright!


Day 2: Disneyland

Had Maggi mee for dinner and breakfast and Maggie noodles always taste good overseas :) my hotel forbid eating in the hotel room so after eating had to secretly throw lol it makes the Maggie noodles more delicious hahahaha. I tied my hair into 2 ponytails high up hahaha cos I thought I am overseas mah, no one know me anyway go disneyland must act like a kid. Disneyland was pretty :) love the details and colours. Its like every corner you look, there are some decoration. No place is bare. Was part of the early crowd. Love how empty it is and the good weather makes me even luckier. It was a total change of scene from the Paris street just like uss and Singapore. Love how cartoon it is. Took the first roller coaster ride feeling super scared. Seeing how fast the roller coaster can go, I almost wanted to give up but just decided to give it a go. Turn out that ot wasn't scary just kept turning around. Then quite a few rides I wanted to take was closed. The park was super big but signage was poor got lost several times and they didn't have signs to tell you which rides was not working. Well something surprising was that their slow rides was super fast so cannot really enjoy the scenery. Wouldn't say I really enjoyed the ride but I really enjoy disneyland just being inside makes me super happy :) then went to movie world mainly watched shows. I think it was a little too ambitious going to two parks but I really like just seeing how the parks were. But the shows were interesting :) We managed to kinda finish the rides we want to take in watt Disney studio but I forgo taking photos lol. In the end we went back to Disneyland and realise that disneyland close at 11pm not 7pm which we thought lol the managed to cover Disneyland lol it was pretty good took some photos but not all that I hoped that had a buffet dinner there! The food was good even the salad but cos like 24 euros. We sat there till close to the park closing time then went to watch another show. It was beautiful with fire, fireworks and laser! I realize that by giving up taking photos for some like this show and the slow rides, I can actually see more cos you wouldn't concentrate too much on the camera and actually enjoy the show. 


Day 3 Paris 

睡到自然醒 is damn shiok. Went to the museum first to see Mona Lisa. I didn't expect to spend so long there but it was super big just kept walking around and getting lost. As I am not a really artsy person I didn't really know which to look out for so it just seem like a treasure hunt. We just looked out for the paintings featured on the brochure. Some I didn't really get why it is featured so I shall research when I get home. I like to look at the paintings then ask myself why the artist draw it so I took photos of some which caught my eye. We spend the time at the museum longer than expected then left and tried to do some shopping. Went to Longchamp and  my mum bought a bag. Couldn't buy the bag I wanted cos it was too ex ad I didn't want to buy the eiffel tower one cos I didn't really love love it and I find the rest too common. Maybe I will change my mind and get them in the airport oh wells. I really love unique stuff as my colleagues always tell me my dressing is unique! I just don't like having something so many people have. Went find Nike to buy my bro's psg jersey. Oh wells it was so difficult to find when we finally decided to give up the psg store appeared lmao. But apparently my bro's jersey is too new and will only be put 3 weeks later so we got him a iPhone cover. My mama never chose the one I like D: anyway hopefully my bro will like her taste. Saw the arc but was too tired to go closer and climb to the tip so yeah. My mum wanted to go to lv but it closed lol. Went back to the hotel and then went to the supermarket to stock up food haha glad to say I bought many snacks for my train ride. I love eating on trains. I remember how good my lunchbox taste on my train ride in Taiwan! Can't wait to take the train to nice then monte Carlo the place where I always wanted to go after watching the movie! The sun set very late over here like and 11 lol.

Day 4 Paris 

Went to the vesallies. I love going to palaces cos it great seeing how grand it is and makes me feel like a princess. It is super big with loads of gold decorations but I kinda still prefer the Chinese palace. Walked through the garden and think about what princesses do in their free time in the past. Kinda wonder what was my past life. The went back to the arc there to change my bro phone cover I already know what design he will like but my mum don't believe so in the end have to go back to change lor. Then walked to notre dame and bought Salome anniversary coin for 2 euro. Not bad lag real hard metal not those flimsy kind. Wanted to try the confession thingy but didn't know how it worked lol. The stained glass were really pretty and the church was really big and grand. Then walked around a bit near the river which marked the end of Paris.


Day 5 Nice

Woke up early to catch the train to nice. The train was really squeezy but I began to watch a Korean drama lie to me I didn't know it was inside lol I think I downloaded it before going to Cambodia or maybe Bandung lol. It was great at keeping me occupied for the 6h ride. Unfortunately as I didn't charge it before hand so it ran out of batt. Luckily there are some movies in the galaxy tab. The 1st movie was boring but the second one was great. Didn't really catch much outside scenery but I really like the sea one and the grassy field parts. Walked around nice. I didn't really expect much as I didn't really read about nice it was just a pit stop to monte Carlo. But walking around the streets wells good plus the wonderful weather. Didn't shop cos like spend so much on this trip but hopefully I can get a Prada wallet. Walked to the beach and the scenery was fantastic! The waters were really clear better than Bali. Went home early cos apparently it is not very safe at night. The hotel fun provide drinking water cos apparently the tap water is drinkable and the person say 'best water' lol.


Day 6 Monte Carlo 


Finally reached monte Carlo. It was pretty but I think I had too high expectation of it cos it didn't really turned out as I hoped. We walked around, went to the palace, cathedral, casino and walked along the river. Saw many yatch and sports car. Really a rich man world but didn't really see much of their houses. Walking around Europe was great because of the wonderful weather and the beautiful streets. Different cities in France really have different looks. Bought a roast chicken home and they even put a little potatoes, onions and tomatoes inside and they taste good. 


Day 7 Milan


Went to the wrong cabin but fortunately the people were nice enough and sat at our seat instead after our cabin mate helped us to speak. Met a couple on honeymoon who were pretty friendly. The man helped us to put our luggage. The seats were really comfortable and i managed to sleep. Arrived at Milano centralo which was really old and walked around near our hotel. There was a great shopping street the things were pretty decent like sogapote prices but didn't want to buy cos like spent a lot of money to come travel in europe le. Plus i just bought so many stuff in bangkok. The hotel toilet was huge as in compared to the previous two hotel. But had to appreciate the toilet cos some actually dun have toilets in the room only a common one. The flushing system is pretty unique like no auto stop one. But the room smelt like hamsters. Lol. Had a nice lagsania for dinner. The pizza was really generous with ham.


Day 8 Milan 


Visited many places of interest. The church were really old and not as well maintained as France. I prefer the streets of France as I think they look nicer. Couldn't find Prada D: Cherries, Tomatoes, strawberries and wine are really cheap and good here bought so many.


Day 9 venice 


The map in venice was not free but we met 2 guy who was leaving and gave us their map lol. Venice is really a place where everyone get lost. Lol almost all tourists were holding onto a map trying to navigate their way. It took us 2 hours to walk to our hotel with 2 stupid heavy luggage cos we got lost along the way. The hotel room does not have a bath room only a basin so have to share bathroom. Good thing it is really clean. Dinner was so so it is like instant food heated up by microwave or oven. My dad just told us my NTU package just arrive sian cannot do myself hopefully my dad can do it all right. Well on the other hand, at least I do not need to do it :)


Day 10 Venice 


The river was not as clean as I imagined there were some smell at certain place but overall it was really pretty. I shall go home and research how venice was in the past. Went to one church with gold everywhere it was super grand and there were quite a queue. Then went up to the clock tower for 8 euro and stayed there for 45 minutes cos the sight was breath taking . It was windy and plus we were tired lol. while we were lost, we managed to find an exhibition on Ai Wei Wei and it was good. Venice is weird like place where the sun shine, it was scotching hot but in the shade, it was really cold. All the church look different in the inside, cannot imagine how it was build and how much was spent. It was really cooling in the church. Went to hard rock cafe exhibition on rock star clothes. Michael Jackson, Kathy perry, Madonna etc pretty interesting.


Day 11 venice


Went to random art galleries which we're free. Fortunately for us, venice is celebrating some art festival so there were many galleries. went to one with arts a mixture of Chinese and western culture so it was pretty cool. There were not many graffiti in Venice so it was great as it kinda did not spoil the cultured look. We kinda followed 2 men with gps and went around different galleries. After many visits I feel that I began to appreciate art and history more. The night scene in Venice was so pretty but I was pretty worried of getting lost.


Day 12 Pisa

Day 14 Florence 


The walls of the cathedral was really pretty with loads of carving but the inside was pretty plain. But was super huge. Went for a free tour and i learned a lot of interesting thing about the cathedral. My tour guide is very young like 16 years old. Just roamed around. The buildings were really old and not very colorful. In fact I really don't find Florence that beautiful. I think the best scenery is at the bridge. I snapped a lot of photos. Went to a museum to look at David lol when I don't even know who is he. Haha ran about the museum to look for it cos the museum was closing. Apparent ithink it is famous hahah. was super tired after that then walked super far to look for a restaurant which we passed by. Okay lah the price is reasonable for the huge steak but it doesn't really taste very good cos it is pretty salty and I don't really like the wine. The best wine I drank so far is in Venice and not bought by glass bottle but in a shop with loads of wine barrel then we just randomly ordered seeing what others ordered the most. Then I had a craving for coke which is super rare cos I don't like coke. It was pretty fun walking back and laughing after burping with my mum.


Day 15 Florence 


Went for 2 walking trips. Not bad learned quite a bit although the places I have already visited yesterday. the outside of the cathedral were pretty similar made of green white and pink marble. Took quite a bit of photos of building which I find interesting. Florence buildings are really old but can see toused to be really nice guess that's cos it used to be a capital. Went to the Medivire palace and looked at the rooms. I really love visiting palaces and looking at how grand it is.

Day 16 Rome

Went to the colosseum. Unfortunately it was closed due to some meeting. Tried to take the metro but it was only 1 entry only. My mum thought it lasted for 100 mins. Oh wells so we walked to another museum. The scenery was different it is more ancient like some sites after excavated was left as it is. Took super long to find the other museum which we bought from with our package ticket. Then it was closed again. Lol my mum kept complaining . Hahaha so we rested for a while then walked to the colosseum again to queue. The queue was already pretty long but thanks to the archeological card we do not need to buy the tickets again and went in at 12 :) it was amazing like it had what moveable structures, super huge. But it was really old and broken so pretty hard to imagine how it was like in the past but we bought a book which my mum find it super cheap. The book was pretty and reminded me of those peek a boo book I read when I was younger. Not bad lah with the book can see how it is like in the past. Then went to another museum some old ancient place which was okay I guess. Rome is really a historical place which was interesting cos I like to see how people on the past live. Went to the monument for unknown soldier which was super formal like cannot do any gesture when taking the photos. Then went into the museum and read about the history like past wars okay lah some I was not very interested but I can see why Italians are proud of their nation cos Italy had been through so much before it manage to unify a bit like china. I wonder when will Singaporeans be proud of their nation cos I already am. Saw a cathedral that the interior is totally gold and yellow. Walked around and went to a huge  plaza. There were many activities there. People drawing and selling arts, performances. Super vibrant. Then tried to find the trevi fountain or something wah took super long then in the end it was not very nice just very big that why grand.

Day 18 Rome 


Went to Venetian city. The outside look super grand. We went to climb up the dome. It was really tiring cos it's was like 500 plus steps.
Day 19 Rome 
Went porta portese flea market. It is a little like sungei road then bought some clothes at 1 euro and 2 zara and esprit bags at 2 euro.
